A US judge has denied Britney Spears’ request to remove her father as her conservator in her ongoing conservatorship since 2008. Last week, the pop star complained of torture and abuse by her father, Jamie Spears.
In a 23 minute revelation, she raised her voice against drugging her, putting a cap on her freedom to perform, and imposing restrictions to have children.
Request to End Conservatorship Denied
Britney Spears has expressed that she wants to live a free life without any conservatorship. Therefore, she appealed to the court to end her conservatorship without any evaluation. However, a judge can’t entertain her request until she files a formal petition.
In her Wednesday documents, only her November request was mentioned in which she requested to declare the private wealth management firm the Bessemer Trust as her “sole conservator.” However, Judge Brenda Penny declined to remove Jamie Spears as her sole conservator.
But she said yes to appointing the Bessemer Trust as co-conservator of Britney’s multi-million dollar estate. Jamie Spears’ lawyers have requested the court to investigate the claims of abuse by the star.
Britney Admitted Her Woes
Britney Spears has admitted that she is not in a good state of psychological health for the last 13 years. However, she said she wants to live a free life and she aspires to have a child with her boyfriend.
Moreover, the pop star said she wants to remove the Contraceptive Intrauterine device (IUD) to get pregnant. The mother of two added conservatorship has spoiled her life badly.
And that she has only pretended to be ok since the onset of conservatorship to save her pride and prevent embarrassment. Britney apologized to her supporters, who are running “Free Britney Now!” and “Get Out of Britney’s Life!” to offer her their full sport, for hiding her true condition.
Jamie Spears Asked for Inquiry into Abuse Claims
Jamie Spears’ lawyers have declared the claims of abuse false and they said Jamie had not restricted Britney’s private life. The 68-year-old has looked over her estate for 13 years, but he stepped down from her personal life due to his ill health.
He got replaced temporarily by Jodi Montgomery, Britney Spears’ caregiver. His lawyers asked for an inquiry into Britney’s claims of abusing & torturing her.
Many stars have raised their voices in support of Britney Spears. Even her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake and her sister Jamie Lynn have spoken about the termination of Britney’s conservatorship. Besides, Britney is receiving support from common people around the globe.
